Toriyama has been my favorite Jpn manga artist all my life, I still have the US strategy guide filled w/ these illustrations. What intrigues me is he is always able to create an alternative universe that is diverse and believable. To see these excellent pieces framed on the wall is quite amazing.

I was hoping the master would do a new piece for the DS cover though, and I’m disappointed they’re sticking to their respective SFC and SNES covers.

As for Toriyama’s char design, I hope Blue Dragon 2 would feature more grown up version of the cast and more detailed drawings (eg DQ Swords).

Ah yes, I remember these images. I still remember my SNES with its bonus map and artwork poster on the back of that.

Funny thing with the first picture, though…I’ve always thought Marle was pointing at her breasts with both hands, which irked the smile from Crono.

Then I realized she was pointing to her pendant.

Still like my interpretation, though.

Awesome & thanks sharing with us, the readers.
I’ve always loved Akira Toriyama’s art, but I especially love the work he did for Chrono Trigger.
Also, I had never seen that last picture until now. =D

Wow great job, disappointing if they are not going to put real ships model they should at least put some cool figures and artifacts,
now lets count how many minutes until some big sites steal these pics like they are the one who went there.
