@ arollo: That may be true, but even Amazon.ca isn’t listing the bundle whereas Amazon.com is…so in my mind we still do get the short end of the stick.

As for the fire-steel witch two part battle, that is the most challenging battle in the whole game. Most of the other battles are pretty easy.

I’m still stuck on that stupidly impossible two-part battle with both the fire witch and THEN the steel witch. I could just powerlevel and have an easy time of it, but levelling up is a bear in that game. Maybe I’m playing a different version from everyone who is saying it’s “easy”.

And to Joanna – I don’t think Canada gets the short end of the stick, it’s the GameStop/EB employees who give their customers the short end of the stick. They do get pre-order bonuses in, but the employees usually take them. I got some Sonic Chronicles swag, but only because the clerk who was in when I picked up my pre-order was friends with me. I don’t expect it to be any different with the LA2, Persona 4, and Eternal Poison pre-order artbooks either. The employees will take them all for themselves and just tell you “we never got any, sorry”.

I’ve already preordered it ^^
I loved the first one to death, even if it was easy, it was so much fun.

I wonder if I’ll get that nice bundle, but since Canada always gets the short end of the stick, I think not =(

Would you rather it be like Square-Enix, where they charge you $40, and it comes with nothing?

I’d gladly pay $10 for that artbook separately.

Of course, you’re paying for those “extras”. $40 instead of $35 or even $30 like most DS games.

I’m going to get it though, at least if I can find my DS. The first game was funny and had a lot of voice acting which led it above mediocrity.

Zhemos: It sounds like the second one won’t be as easy, and if Luminous Arc is really working as plan to get non-SRPG players to ease into the world of SRPGs, I’m all for it.

There are too many good ones I never got to play because they never got translated.

As far as the article goes…I have to agree with the Atlus people. A game, soundtrack and art book definitely sounds like a sweet Christmas present.

The first Luminous Arc was pretty easy. But the art, funny witches and character development made it an enjoyable game. I can’t wait to pickup part 2.
