Otomedius G Grabs A November Release Date

otog OK, the Otomedius G delay wasn’t that bad, Konami only held their shooter back two months. Japan will see Otomedius G in stores on November 20. The console version includes new features like three player co-op over Xbox Live, two player co-op via system linking, and an original mission mode which also includes multiplayer time attack. I briefly played Otomedius G at Tokyo Game Show and it felt like a faithful version of the arcade game minus the touch screen controls. You have to purchase a special package with an arcade stick specifically designed for Otomedius G for the full experience and it doesn’t come cheap. Given the amount of boobage in the game and the possibility Microsoft may impose a set 50,000 minimum print limit chances are slim to zero of Konami publishing this in North America. Keep your fingers crossed Konami will release this as a region free game.

Ugh, I hadn't heard the 50k print limit story before... between this and the stupid genre limits on XBLA, seems like we're going to be denied 2D shooters forever in the west. :/

Maybe Konami, 5pb, Cave, Moss, G.rev, etc should follow Milestone's lead and move to Wii?
