Tetris Party And TurboGrafx Imports Tilt Wiikly Update Towards Hudson

Recommended Videos

Hudson told us back in May they were experimenting using the balance board as a controller for Tetris Party. The trials must have worked out well since a balance board mode made the final cut along with field climber, stage racer, shadow, and online play over Nintendo Wi-Fi. Tetris Party has a lot of Tetris to offer for 1,200 Wii Points ($12). If you’re looking for something cheaper there’s the Incredible Maze, a remote tilting marble maze game made from the people who published Dragon’s Lair on Blu-ray. Digital Leisure’s first WiiWare title runs for 500 Wii Points ($5). I wonder if they plan to bring any of their American Laser Games properties like Crime Patrol and the campy classic Mad Dog McCree to WiiWare in the future.

Hudson’s two TurboGrafx-16 imports finally come out this week too. Digital Champ Boxing and Gradius II Gofer no Yabou (yeah, they kept the Japanese name intact!) are in the Virtual Console shop for 700 and 900 Wii Points respectively. You might have an itching for Punch-Out after Nintendo’s Wii revival announcement, but skip out on Digital Champ Boxing, it’s a poor man’s Super Punch Out. Put your money towards something like Gradius II instead.
