SNK Publishing A Ninja Loaded Neo Geo Collection For The PS2

Five Neo Geo games make up ADK Damashii (literally ADK Soul). The PlayStation 2 disc contains: Ninja Masters, Ninja Combat, Ninja Commando, Aggressors of Dark Kombat, and Twinkle Star Sprites. The volume of content isn’t nearly up to par with SNK Arcade Collection Vol. 1, but that compilation was never released in Japan so they aren’t aware of SNK’s Neo Geo deal. Twinkle Star Sprites, a competitive cute ‘em up is probably the highlight of ADK Damashii since it was never released in North America. We might see it if Ignition and SNK link up to publish ADK Damashii outside of Japan. If such a deal happens this collection should be way less than 5,040 yen ($48). I would expect ADK Soul to fall into the $20 range or see these titles pushed into SNK Arcade Collection Vol. 2.

So why is this called ADK Soul? All of the games here are made by Alpha Denshi, the same company behind Magician Lord and the World Heroes games.

This should have been made for the Wii, so I can play Twinkle Star Sprites with my Hori stick.

Outside the dedicated collections like we saw with Metal Slug, KOF or Samurai Showdown, I'd expect SNKP USA to just continue with the larger Neo Geo Collections. We'll probably get all those games in some form eventually if they keep selling.

Also, I thought we actually got the Dreamcast TSS here? Weird?
