Lux Pain Coming To North America In March 2009 Too

Since Rising Star is working on an English version of Lux Pain I was pretty sure it would get released in North America. It was more of a who is going to publish Lux Pain than if it was going to happen. Xseed passed on the scratch and search adventure game which gave Ignition Entertainment an opportunity to pick Lux Pain up. Ignition USA has Lux Pain tentatively scheduled to come out on March 24 or about a year after the game got released in Japan (thanks for the clue ZefiroTorna!).

Seeing Ignition publish Lux Pain also shows their relationship with Marvelous Entertainment is still on good terms regardless of the Xseed / Marvelous co-publishing deal. In the past Ignition published New Zealand Story Revolution and Bubble Bobble Double Shot, two other Marvelous games. Marvelous is aggressively expanding into North America too so if Xseed decides not to publish the English version of Steal Princess or Valhalla Knights: Elder Saga Ignition Entertainment could take care of them.
