Nintendo Preps For DSi Launch With Shopping Channel Update

By Spencer . October 23, 2008 . 6:31am

np Not sure if this update is coming out for North American Wiis now, but overnight the Wii’s Shopping Channel got a minor update. The interface has been updated so Wii Points are now referred to as Nintendo Points, but as we mentioned before Nintendo’s currency is tied to a console. The DSi comes out next week and you’ll be able to use Nintendo Points to purchase software, unannounced launch software, when the system arrives in Japan.

The other change is a button to check out which controllers/peripherals are required to play a game. If you’re in Japan, here are the ways you can get Nintendo Points.

Yeah, seems kinda soon for NA given we're not getting DSi for at least another six months. Maybe they'll speed up the release?

Promotional products are one of the most effective means of saturating your target market with a message that will stay with them for a long period. Your promotional products and corporate gifts, such as promotional mugs for instance, should bear a message that is clear, concise and gripping.
