Irem Returns To RPG Basics With Legend Of Hero: Narisokonai

irem Classic dungeon crawlers are getting back in fashion. At Tokyo Game Show Irem’s booth flashed a trailer for Legend of Hero: Narisokonai described as a sympathetic heart to heart role playing game, a reference to the heart’s voice system. Battles look like Dragon Quest, but voices of the character’s feelings flash by.

Irem plans to have forty classes in Legend of Hero Narisokonai ranging from staples like knight to cook and math teacher. Each class gets a different weapon too use. The pictured frying pan is for the cook, the giant compass is for the math teacher, the mace fishing rod is for…. ? We’ll find out this winter when Legend Of Hero: Narisokonai comes out this winter in Japan and all of the wacky classes are revealed.
