Fragile Breaks Into Stores In January

By Spencer . October 27, 2008 . 8:40am

Fraglie: Sayonara Tsuki no Haikyo (Fragile: Farewell Ruins of the Moon) is scheduled to come out on January 22 in Japan, a slight delay from the original 2008 target. Tri Crescendo and Namco Bandai’s game make the Wii remote a flashlight and you point it to shine light on the ruined world. Seto is searching for survivors. In this trailer you can see Ren, the platinum haired girl sitting on an iron girder. Namco Bandai hasn’t announced if Fragile is going to be released in North America yet and it’s certainly not a prime candidate for a release. Perhaps, Namco Bandai is waiting to see how Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of a New World sells since it’s an RPG, albeit a different kind of RPG, before committing resources to Fragile.

They’d be idiots not to bring it here — considering the install base of the Wii and the facts that its owners are SCREAMING for actual games. Anyway I’ve had my Wii Tales preordered for months, so I’ve done my part.

I pray that Bandai Namco grows some brain cells and… puts Team Symphonia doing Wii games, focuses on the Wii, announces this game (Fragile) for US and PAL-lands and keeps the anime song and an option for japanese voice overs (dual track)

    Just do it Namco.

Could this delay be a good sign? Maybe they’ll fix the control problems that i kept reading/hearing about while TGS 2008 was going on. Please fix the controls Tri-Crescendo! The controls will make or break this game.

This game just makes me want a Wii. D: It looks really good for an RPG.

Oddly, the trailer reminds me of Baroque, most likely because of Seto’s character design and the post-apocalyptic story line involving characters who don’t fit the norm and are trying to find their reason. (I feel like I’m the only one who would ever make this connection.)
