Second Monkey King Based Shmup Coming To Wii In December

Daisaiou is another spiritual cousin to the Shin Chuka Taisen, a shooter with a flying monkey. Starfish is back at the helm as the developer and they chose to use art from a Hong Kong comic book with a grittier and futuristic spin on the Journey to the West story. We mentioned the game before when it was original slated to come out in September. Yeah, it never matriculated. Starfish has the Daisaiou rescheduled to ship in Japan sometime in December for 4,935 yen ($50), but I wouldn’t bother importing it. UFO Interactive has an established relationship with Starfish and chances are good they will release the game in North America as a budget Wii game next year.
