Blueside Gets Into DS Development With Princess And Knight

Korean developer Blueside announced Princess and Knight, a stylus controlled action RPG for the Nintendo DS. If this action RPG is anything like their Kingdom Under Fire action RPG series we’re going to see large mobs and loot. The strange thing about Princess and Knight is was announced for Europe first without a publisher and there is no way Blueside is publishing this on their own. Since Princess and Knight is being developed in English we will probably see it in North America too.

I like the title actually. Spritework looks excellent but we’ll have to to see how it turns out, their last ARPG (Circle of Doom) was a real letdown.

It’s worth noting that before Kingdom Under Fire was an action RPG, it was a Dynasty Warriors/tactical army battle hybrid game on the original Xbox, meaning they have some serious strategy chops behind them. It’s probably less about phat lewt and more about archers taking out infantry.

Yeah, I’ve heard great things about KUF1-2. Actually, I thought the next PC/360 KUF was going to return to the RTS/slash’em up style?

This game looks like a lot of fun, and I love the art-style. :)

I wonder if the attacks are going to be executed like Summon Night: Twin Age, since you say the combat is stylus controlled.
