I loved BoF:DQ, same for all the other BOF. It's my favorite, and one of the few RPG franchises I enjoy.

I seriously skipped a beat while reading "Breath Of Fire Franchise Gets A Breath Of Life"

but then the words Cell Phone followed :/

Oh well at least they haven't completely forgotten about it.

Yeah I wanted to love BOFV so bad but was really turned off by the "survival" aspect of it, even though I totally knew what it was shooting for.

I loved every single other BOF to date, especially III in which I must have put a good 200 hours (many replays, PSP version, etc)

And of course BOF1 evokes serious nostalgia, living with my mom at the time... ahhhh.

I hate cell phone games, but some news is better than no news. Here's to the revival of a great me-too RPG series.

Just putting my two cents in, I enjoyed every BoF except V... save tokens? What a shame. 3 was probably my favorite, but 4 was amazing, too. Japan is so lucky to have amazing cell phone games like this, and FF4 After Story.

Like Chow, BoF IV is my favourite in the series but to be honest, I only played about half of BoF III. I wonder if this series will actually make a return to the consoles.

shame that it doesn't mean Capcom is getting behind the title though.

The mobile phone section of the company is separate from the rest meaning there's a lot of bureaucracy in between.

Cool. Despite what people say, BoF4 was one of my favorites in the series. Stangely enough, I didn't like BoF3 too much.
