Extra Valkyria Chronicles Episodes With Edie And Selvaria Coming Next Year

Valkyria Chronicles just shipped in North America today. Before Sega can tally sales here they are confirming two of the downloadable content packs already out in Japan will get released in North America “early next year”. The first pack focuses on Edie, an allied side character. The second pack has players flip sides and attack Gallia with Selvaria. Interestingly, there are three separate DLC packs in Japan. The non-story pack is Hard EX mode and it has a free battle system. I wouldn’t worry about that being cut for North America since Christopher Kaminski, Associate Producer of Valkyria Chronicles, mentions the extra difficulty mode in his announcement. Hard EX mode will probably be merged into Edie’s pack.
