Rare LittleBigPlanet DLC Costs Big Bucks

The Sephiroth and Old Snake Sackboy outfits cost $1.99 each, which isn’t too bad since there may be licensing fees involved. In comparison to this Rare T-shirt the premium outfits seem like a bargain. Sony is selling this piece of downloadable content for 500 yen ($5) in Japan. Seriously? $5 for a virtual T-shirt? That’s nearly the price of a downloadable PsOne game there! Sony Computer Entertainment America hasn’t set a price for this yet leaving it marked with “$?.??” and since downloadable content is region locked gamers in Japan have to pony up 500 yen if they want this shirt. Given the premium price it’s going to be rare to see a ~~Sackboy~~ LiBits wear one of these.

DLC abuse, I say.

Yeah, I got all excited when I saw there was new LBP DLC available, but when I saw it was a 500 yen T-shirt (especially when my monkey skin and space outfit were free) I passed it over. I see it IS available for a limited time, though. I just can't fathom remaking my LiBits SPACE MONEY though.

@Charlie - A space monkey is 1000x cooler than wearing a rare shirt. I'm jealous there isn't any Ape Escape / Piposaru content in North America.
