Looks to me like Square is going to leave the possibility open for a true CT sequel (read: not Chrono Cross) if enough copies of this game are sold.

I love CT, and the extra ending is very welcome ^^
I also hope it’s a link to a sequel, but I don’t want to be too optimistic. I have a feeling it’s a link to Chrono Cross =/

Yeah, definately looking better and better. Of course, I still woulda bought this even if it was just a straight port with no new features. CT is one of the few games that I honestly never get sick of playing even though I probably have the entire game memorized.
