101 "Games" On A DS Cart, No This Isn’t Pirated

101 "Games" On A DS Cart, No This Isnt Pirated Seeing 101-in-1 printed on a game box reeks of a shady pirate cart where 99 of the games are the same terrible Pac-Man clone with different names like Man Pac and Pellet Eater 2001. I’m not sure if Nordcurrent, the company behind Fading Shadows, was inspired by a pirate cart, but it looks like the games in 101-in-1 Explosive Megamix will play like a pirate cart. You get a bunch of simple shooters, touch screen curling, and pig painting in the same package. Quantity over quality appears to be the game’s motto.

The sad thing is there are homebrew DS titles that look way, way better than the “mini-games” you get in 101-in-1 Explosive Megamix. Someone should corral all of the great homebrew games, put them on a cart, and sell it in Europe. If 101-in-1 Explosive Megamix can get a Nintendo seal of approval there a best of DS homebrew compilation should fly too.

Jesus, I’ve seen less generic-looking space shooters(?) done in Flash.
