Weapons Of White Knight Chronicles

Weapons Of White Knight Chronicles The world of White Knight Chronicles isn’t a friendly place. You need to defend yourself from feral monsters and giant monsters like this cyclops. Leonard and your avatar can choose an arm from a handful of fantasy staples. Swords and spears look useful for regular sized monsters, but when you’re facing a towering troll or treant a long range weapon like the bow looks like a better choice.

Here’s a look at some of the weapons you can use.

And when monsters return the pain you can use Sacred Magic (Recovery magic).

The Japanese box art doesn’t show any of the monsters, though. Just a lone White Knight on a white background.

The game looks a little similar to Infinite Undiscovery. The cover above is really cool, the US ver should use the same.

I can’t buy RPGs anymore, I just bought IU, Last Remnant, Vesperia, Persona 4, Chrono Trigger, Valkyria Chronicles, they could last me over the next 6 months, not to mention emptying my wallet.

Then start filling your wallet with ….more money :)

I’m just saying, money is actually not much of an issue for me (fortunately) in terms of gaming. It’s actually too many games too little time. ~40-50 hr RPG on average is very taxing. On the other hand, I was able to finish the single campaign of GoW2 in a single weekend, very satisfying. So White Knight Chronicles would probably need to wait.

I would trade The Last Remnant and Infinite Undiscovery for White Knight Chronicles…
    Because, they were a dissapointment.

Im fired up for White Knight Chronicles!

the game looks more and more interesting everytime. the whole transformation-into-a-gigantic-mecha-like-thing still buggs me, but other than that it looks great.

@Lexerias – Despite the general so-so reviews for IU, I actually am enjoying it quite a bit. The battles and customization are fun and I like the story so far (the humorous parts are funny and the chars endearing), perhaps I’m playing the Jpn version the voice acting is tremendous. I’m still waiting for Last Remnant from Amazon, from what I heard it’s plagued by some of the same technical problems of Lost Odyssey, common from the Unreal Engine. I think I would like it though, at least the battle system should be more fun than FF 12′s gambits.

I’m interested in White Knight chronicles too, Level rarely disappoints. I hope this turns out to be fun. One thing I don’t like about it is the characters’ designs though, seems sort of bland.

Anyone else notice similarities this game has to monster hunter? 4 player co-op w/ monster slaying being the main focus? even weapons too

  • labwarrior

Why does that game look so terrible visually ?
