Star Ocean: Second Evolution Lands Two Weeks Later

Star Ocean: Second Evolution will ship out on January 20 instead of coming out on January 6. This minor release date shuffle should give RPG fans extra time to cruise through this holiday season’s RPG surplus. In early 2009 the RPG flood will continue with Ar Tonelico II, Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride, Ys Books I & II, and later in the spring Star Ocean: The Last Hope.

What makes Star Ocean: Second Evolution worth a look if you already played the PsOne release? New private actions and animated scenes from Production I.G which we mention in our impressions of the Japanese release.

I was really happy for the remake of the first game, but this seriously is not justifiable for owners of the PS1 game (who can easily play it on the PSP regardless)

Oh well, good for those who never played it though; stellar RPG. Literally.

i beat the first star ocean on PSP the first week it came out, since then really waiting desprately for either star ocean 2 on jan.6 or an announcement for Star Ocean 4 on PS3. If star ocean 1 and 2 is on PSP and 3 is on PS2, its a rip off not having 4 on PS3

*sigh* More "PS family" crap. There's nothing wrong with the 360 people, it has a larger user base and has obviously attracted gamers that did not have an X-Box.

I find it ridiculous MSX is getting Final Fantasy. It should stay on Famicom where it was born :-P

getting a psp for x-mas just so i can re-rock these star ocean games =]. also tales of the world games, this is going to be an awesome x-mas. can't wait for star ocean IV!!
