Patapon Plushies March To Stores This December

The loveable Patapon are getting 100% more huggable thanks to Medicom Toy, the company that makes Kubrick collectibles. Sometime later this month Rolito’s creation is going to be sold as a plush doll in Japan for 3,990 yen ($42) each. At that price the stuffed Patapon isn’t really a stocking stuffer since you can purchase Patapon or digitally import Patapon 2 for less. If you want to get a Patapon fan something smaller Medicom Toy has a collection of Patapon straps priced at 683 yen ($8) a piece. All of these items are unfortunately in Japan only so you’ll have to scout out an import retailer carrying these items if you want them anywhere else.

This is adorably cute – but at $42, quite a ways out of my budget for a plushie.
