The animation quality took a deep dive in the 2nd half of the first episode, and the subsequent eps aren't much better. There was also no story at all even up to ep 4.. I was thinking of watching it to prepare myself for the game, I'm not touching the anime ever again. I remember the Xenosaga anime was horrible too, which is a pity.I pray the game is much better since I have high hopes for its Xenogears char design and Mitsuda soundtrack.The Valkyria Chronicles anime should receive better treatment though.
