DSiWare Kicks Off Next Week In Japan, Here’s The Launch Lineup

By Spencer . December 15, 2008 . 10:11pm

Sitting with a Nintendo DSi and wondering where all the downloadable DSiWare games are? They’re coming. Nearly out of the blue Nintendo announces a slew of them scheduled to come out on December 24. The good news is everyone with a DSi will get more than Brain Training Lite and a Memo pad. Nintendo of Japan’s DSiWare launch line up has Art Style games and a neat looking entry in the Wario Ware series. The bad news is only Nintendo is contributing to the DSiWare lineup at this point. Unlike the WiiWare launch in Japan there aren’t any third party games.

Well I didn’t think it was possible for a selection of online games to be even more crap than WiiWare. You learn something new every day.

Capcom/inti-creates should port Mega Man 9. I’d honestly buy it again for portability.

They should do a PSP version (via PSN) too.

Wait, did they just separate former game modes from Warioware?! Pass on those…
I suppose DR Mario is the best 1st party title so far, at least on first impression. You cannot go wrong with that puzzle game.

I don’t know what you guys were expecting but these games are 1-5 dollars each, so of course they aren’t going to blow you away.
