Shanda got around to putting Dead or Alive Online into closed beta status in China and it’s the Dead or Alive we know with a hub world. After making a cute avatar you can challenge others to regular Dead or Alive combat with Kasumi and friends. Neat if you wanted vanilla Dead or Alive, but I was hoping for something novel.
