You know….it’s funny. The handful of PS3 games mentioned (K2, RE5, Heavy Rain and SF4)……that’s more games than the Xbox 360 has in the whole of 2009, LOL!

Although, besides Heavy Rain, i couldn’t care less for those games. I’m more looking forward to:

Final Fantasy XIII

White Knight Chronicles

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

New Ratchet & Clank

Gran Turismo 5 (Hopefully)

Assasin’s Creed 2

National Geographic: Africa (Here’s hoping this get’s an EU release)

I disagree, Sony needs to focus on the games, and stop touting the other aspects of their devices. Especially the PSP – it seems relegated to nothing more than a PS3 accessory these days. But even the PS3 is nothing more than a “movie download machine” according to the latest Sony commercials that have been running a lot of late.

Brilliant, stick the blu-ray drive in there driving up the cost so only a few people can afford it, then advertise the it as a “movie download machine.”. (Not to mention that the 360 is better at movies, thanks to the Netflix deal)

The PSP and PS3 have great interaction between each other, and its a feature that Sony has not exploited quite successfully. The PSP has great games, just not enough marketing. Thats where the problem resides, both the PS3 and PSP have so many features that it takes mass marketing campaigns to really show all their capabilities. It takes a lot of explaining to expose everything the PSP is capable of, only the hardcore can really appreciate all the features, while the “casual” demographic only looks at the “games” that are shown on ads or infomercials.

Sony needs to find a way to thoroughly show all the features of the PSP and PS3, they arent just “games machines”, they are so much more, but people dont know about it.

i have a psp but i rarely use it for games . i actually paid for 2 psp the original and the new one with daxter . Its good for music ( not for carrying but aux in your car ) , remote play..the only game i bought for it last year was buzz

Sony’s been very vague about the PSP for almost a year. Promises of great games coming, but little substance. The only real notable title announced (Resistance Retribution) was at the expense of the Syphon Filter, and most the hype about R.R. seems to be how you can play it on your PS3…

I don’t own a psp yet, but I do know that it has great games. It’s just the fact that 90% of those great games are not available in the United States…. Sony just needs to step it up. But first they need to get the ps3 running because right now its just crawling, while Xbox 360 is sprinting and the Nintendo Wii is flying.

Killzone 2: Another first-person shooter? Really? Do we really need another one? More shaved head Caucasian males with military guns. BORING!

Heavy Rain: Ultra boring realism. Generic Hollywood style videogame. We have reality around us. Why do we need it in a videogame?

Street Fighter IV: Ugly. It’s basically Street Fighter II remade for OLD people. Dumbed down because they don’t know how parry an attack. (ala Street Fighter III) The art style kills the game.

Resident Evil 5: RE4.5. Didn’t I already play you on the Nintendo Gamecube and the Nintendo Wii? That’s it.
