Harvest Moon Used To Sell Coffee Creamer

I imagine a late December brainstorming session at Marvelous went something like this… Harvest Moon has cows. Cows make milk. Nakazawa Foods sells dairy products. !!! Get them on the phone right now!

While we’ll never know what truly happened between Nakazawa Foods and Marvelous the result is the same. Harvest Moon’s cuddly farm animals and characters from Harvest Moon: Welcome to the Wind Bazaar (that’s the most recent Harvest Moon in Japan if you’ve been keeping track of them) are being used to promote dairy cream from Nakazawa. This isn’t a direct sell out. Marvelous is getting something out of it too, namely attention for Harvest Moon: Welcome to the Wind Bazaar which is swimming in a sea of other Harvest Moon games. Now the caffeine addicted know about it.
