The PSP, Now In "Carnival Colors"

By Spencer . January 7, 2009 . 10:32pm

Some people think the PSP is “dead”. This might be the case in North America where games are sparingly released, but in Asia it’s another story where games are actually released. Sony Computer Entertainment Asia has been stepping up to the plate by localizing titles like Coded Soul, Bleach: Soul Carnival, and Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida or 2 in Chinese and Korean.

To celebrate the launch of more localized games and perhaps to capitalize on Lunar New Year splurging Sony Computer Entertainment Asia has two new PSP-3006 colors “Radiant Red” and “Vibrant Blue”. Each unit costs $1,380 HKD ($177) and they hit stores in Asia on January 15. Sony Computer Entertainment America has not announced these colors, but there is a slim chance these PSP colors could appear in tomorrow morning’s CES press conference.
