Meet Hilton Hotels, Your Neighborhood PSP Developer

Rockstar doesn’t make PSP games anymore, but Hilton Hotels – the hotel chain does. In 2008 the Hilton Garden Inn made a training game for the PSP called Ultimate Team Play. Employees tested their skill at hotel roles like being at the front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food supply. Inside the virtual hotel you’re scored, yes the game keeps score, on how well you do.

Since Ultimate Team Play was designed for internal use it’s going to make a public debut at Game Developer Conference 2009. Be sure to keep an eye out for the panel’s time. Given the drought of PSP games Hilton might be able to sell this in stores. Just throw Paris Hilton on the cover and call it Paris Hilton: Hot Hotel Trainer or something. I won’t buy it, but I’m confident others will.
