Disaster Report 3: Survive A Flaming Tornado

By Spencer . January 13, 2009 . 9:55am

disr01 Irem continues to support the PSP Disaster Report 3 or as it’s know in Japan Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 3. The follow up to Raw Danger revisits the natural disaster from the first game, an earthquake, but you’re in control of a new hero.

Naoki just arrived on Central Island when the crisis happens and he meets Saki, a nurse turned into a musician. New for Disaster Report 3 is a stress meter which rises when you rest and falls if you get into angry conversations. Like the other games in the Disaster Report series you get to pick with Naoki says so you can make him cool as a cucumber, encouraging, or a flat out jerk. Your choice.

    Burn, baby, burn.

  • I feel like this PSP game looks way better than Raw Danger for the PS2. Could it just be my eyes tricking me?

  • Kuronoa

Looks like fun. I’m really going to look forward to this.

So this is Disaster Report from a different viewpoint, or are you saying it’s a different location/time, but the same disaster type? I wonder what it’d be called this time.

  • jeffx

So, wait. Are you confirming a Disaster Report 3 release in the US (by Agetec presumably) or are you just reporting on the Japanese version?

  • Spencer

Just the Japanese version. If I called it by the Japanese name I don’t think people would recognize it, but I would be surprised if this didn’t come to the US at some point…

I have had an interest for this niche series for a little while so maybe this can be my first game of the series :).
