Avalon Code Slips Into March

By Spencer . January 23, 2009 . 10:30am

ac According to Nintendo Avalon Code was on track for February. Since we haven’t heard or seen much written about it Siliconera inquired if this was still the case. A representative from Xseed let us know our suspicions were well founded.

Avalon Code won’t come out here until “early March” now. Actually, that doesn’t sound too far off from the original plan since Avalon Code was previously coming out in late February. In the long run Avalon Code will probably benefit from a release date change. February is already packed with Nintendo DS RPGs like Ys Books I & II, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, and Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride.

Not much difference, then. During both February and March there’ll be 5+ DS RPGs, each. Insane.

great delay into march too many games that month for me, gaagh!

  • I’m a tad OCD and made a spreadsheet of games coming out every quarter for each system I own (I swear it’s for budgeting purposes!)… and yeah, this isn’t a bad thing. I have 7 DS RPGs on the list just through March. In short: don’t worry, Xseed. I can wait.

  • Retro Game Challenge is still set for Feb. so that’ll hold me over till AV is out.

Good call, we don’t need a repeat of what happened with all the games hitting the same for the last of the year. Game is on my radar as well!
