Raiho Is Ready For Your Pre Order Usually, we don’t post up news about pre-orders, but a plush Raiho is at stake here! In the Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2 – Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon announcement Atlus emphasized the initial run of the game which will be bundled with the stuffed Raiho is going to be rare.

 

How rare? Not a clue, but if you really want a Raiho play it safe and pre-order. That’s my plan. Tipster Volcynika let us know (thanks!!) two retailers are taking pre-orders as of today: Amazon and Gamestop. Out of the two only Gamestop mentions the Raiho bonus, but since every copy of the first run gets a Raiho it should be safe to get Devil Summoner 2 from Amazon too. International readers can snag a copy from Play-Asia, they are carrying the Raiho/Devil Summoner 2 bundle too.

    So if every copy comes with the plushie, and it'll be as rare as Atlus says it is, does that mean there will be a point where retailers will stop taking preorders for the bundle and just start selling the game on it's own? Or am I just misunderstanding something?

    Preordered from Gamestop. :3 Close to my birthday so I'm happy.

    btw there's someone with a similar name as mine, one letter off too. 0_o Oh well, I have an avatar so I doubt people will confuse me for you.

    Not sure how limited it is, but every copy of the initial launch will come with the plushie. When it's out, it's out. They might reprint the game (which they mentioned had low odds) and sell it without the plushie later, but yeah. Honestly, I hope they figure a cap on it or something, since while I preordered mine in GameStop today, I just dont want it to be May and be told I'm not going to get a game.

    I'm a sucker for pre-order freebie, I don't think I've ever pre-ordered a game 4 months before its release :)

    Thanks a lot for the heads up. I'll be getting it from Amazon, where I got also put down a few preorders for a few games before for the bonuses (Chrono Trigger, Luminous Arc 2, Persona 3, FES, 4, and Growlanser).
