I also found Home beta to be a waste of time. I'm guessing the main demographic Sony is aiming at is teenagers really. If I'm spending time loitering in a virtual hub I might as well play more games. If the Chris & Ryu avatar outfits could be unlocked along w/ trophies I certainly wouldn't mind.

As a PS3 owner I'm unimpressed. I will still buy these two titles, but I really don't care about Home or wasting money on outfits for an avatar. I never thought I would see the day when grown men would get excited over playing dress up with what is basically virtual barbie dolls.

I wonder if this rewards system is tied into the trophies. Based on the description, it's either a similar system, or simply what I just said. They should do that with every game that has trophies, such as when you get the Platinum and Gold trophies, and maybe the Silvers if they're rare enough to warrant it.
