Dragonball Evolution Game Retrofitted To Look Sorta Anime ish

It’s still strange to see actors portray Goku, Bulma, and Piccollo in Fox’s live action Dragonball movie. Namco Bandai’s Dragonball Evolution game bases the character models off their human counterparts in fights. During cutscenes they look a tiny bit different. Namco Bandai stylized Justin Chatwin with a pencil sketch filter to make him look more like an anime character.

What do you think looks better? The hybrid anime style or this…

It's like they *want* to destroy their reputation with the fans… Such suicidal developers!

Spencer….do you even need to ask?

    Neither…

    God why does this happen?

Why can't they just leave DBZ ALONE!

Wow It looks horrible. I wouldn't play this game even if it was given to me for free.

So they're calling dragonball “promethium orb” in the movie?

I've been a huge DB or Toriyama fan all my life, even though this whole thing looks kind of weird, I must say I like the above art style, looks like SNK's KoF drawings. I hope this movie is not as bad as Korea's Dragon Wars.

I want to pay and see the movie just to see how bad it is. They got a good strategy here

Toriyama approved of the film so I'm not worried

It's kind of an improvement, I suppose… more importantly, it's looking more and more likely that they've lifted the engine from a (Shin?) Budokai game–if it's a good-playing game at its core, so help me, I'll check it out.

I'd be the first to play a Nintendo-developed platformer based on the Super Mario Bros. movie, though, so, y'know… take that as you will.
