Hero For 30sec Gets A Date And A Demo

Hyper speed RPG Yuusha 30 (aka Hero for 30sec overseas) will be in Japanese stores on May 28 and it won’t cost as much as a standard PSP game. Marvelous set the price at 4,410 yen ($48). Yeah, that sounds expensive, but Dissidia: Final Fantasy went on sale there for 6,090 yen ($67). When Hero for 30sec gets released over here I imagine it will be a $29.99 or less.

Not sure you want to spend that kind of money? Sony put a demo up on Japan’s PlayStation Store. Go grab it with a Japanese PSN account.

I just tried the demo, it’s more fun than I imagined. Yuusha no kuse ni Namaiki da’s monster breeding was not my cup of tea, but this is really fun. The 2nd scenario was especially so, where you could buy time extending beyond the 30 sec time limit, pressing you to allocate time to visit towns, gather money for equipment upgrade, fight monsters, lvl up enough to finally defeat the demon king. The dialogue is pretty funny too. I’m eager to find out what lies beyond the demo and gameplay for the other 3 chars, if it’s $29.99 or better yet $19.99 here it would be a steal. As it stands the Jpn price point is too steep for a simple game like this.
