How Much Smoother Does FF Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time Look On Wii?

Square Enix’s newly created Pollux Engine made it possible to develop the same game for the Nintendo DS and Wii. However, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time doesn’t look exactly the same on the Wii. Stare at two screens of the same fight long enough and the models on the Wii version look a tiny bit clearer. See the fire breathing lizard? Start there. The beast looks more plastic-y just like the heroes on the Wii. The difference isn’t huge, it’s arguably miniscule, but in case you were wondering about it check out these screenshots.

Looks higher res and with AA. Doesn’t look too minor of a difference to me.

  • Kaoro

Yikes… that must look absolutely awful on any decently sized HDTV.

  • Ash 777

worst looking home console game in the past, say… 10 years??
The PSX could have run that shit!

Oh, I’m a great wii fan… but they just SHOULDN’T DARE to put this crap an the shelves…
    I’m ashamed for them…
