In less than a month Capcom’s next mega release will be in stores worldwide. A hotly anticipated game like Resident Evil 5 is bound to have a limited edition version, but this game is a special case. Capcom has no less than five Resident Evil 5 limited edition bundles. Each version comes with different stuff and is sold for a different price.

Let’s take a look at the packages starting with what we’re getting here.

If you pre-order at GameCrazy you get a bonus sand globe. Australia gets the same bundle for $169.95 AUD ($110).

The chainsaw USB drive is about the size of a credit card. You pull off the blade and plug it into your PC to use it.

Which one do you covet? Who has it the worst?  Sorry, Europe.

Any way to get just the flash drive?

Korea got it best. Artbook!!! And Degeneration as a bonus is pretty cool too.

Definitely. I'd much rather have a soundtrack and artbook than a bag and a necklace of Africa :(
  • Traveler
Korea got the best one followed by Japan.

My favorite is the Jpn version w/ the Tricell flash drive. The US Tricell messenger bag is cool, but I don't like the Kijuju steel case, very unsettling.
  • As far a nic-knacks go, the U.S. has a healthy set. Korea has the core set, but I really like Hong Kong's set, if just for the chainsaw.

    Wow Europe got owned again!

Yeah, Europe definitely got the shaft.

I like the Korean CE the most for having a soundtrack and an artbook, the only significant setback I see with it would be that people who already own Degeneration would be stuck with another copy. I also find the Hong Kong CE to be very interesting, I personally like its flash drive much more than the Japanese one, and I wonder just what more they have on those 3 "making of" DVDs.

Oddly, it looks like the Korean CE would have been the one better off with a reversible cover considering it's Biohazard 5 coupled with Resident Evil Degeneration.
