One Piece: Unlimited Cruise Docks In Europe This Summer

Namco Bandai’s two episode One Piece: Unlimited Cruise saga is being localized. Europe gets the first game in June and the second game is scheduled to come out in October. No official news about a domestic release, but since Namco Bandai is already doing the work I would be shocked if these didn’t come here.

Ganbarion, the studio that made last year’s One Piece: Unlimited Adventure, is acting as the developer again. They gave Luffy’s crew some new costumes, made skeletal chef Brook playable, and threw in a cute demon made by One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda. Meet Gabriell (he’s wearing a red hat with horns) in this clip.

'bout time bandai does something about unlimited cruise, i was just starting to give up on hope. what i don't get is, wouldn't north america get it before europe? seems odd that it was released there before it was here.

Maybe Namdai finally realized how much more successful One Piece is in Europe (at least I can tell you about Germany, France and Italy) than in the US. (plus the story is much closer to the jp manga than in the us, less than 5vol in germany, less than 10 in france)

I'm super-pumped for this. I thought we wouldn't get any more One-Piece games after that Virgin (now Zavvi/Bankrupt) PS2 exclusive.
