A Double Dose Of DS Naruto Shippuden Games

A Double Dose Of DS Naruto Shippuden Games The Naruto Shippuden license is fair game in North America and publishers are quickly utilizing it. Namco Bandai already announced Ultimate Ninja 4: Naruto Shippuden originally through manga mag Shonen Jump. Now, it’s Tomy’s turn to do the same thing.

A scan sent in by Ryne11 (thanks!!) casually announces Naruto Shippuden Ninja Council 4: Rise of the Akatsuki which is a localized version of Naruto Shippuden: Saikyou Ninja Daikesshuu 5. Japan got the 2D brawler about a year and half ago. We’ll get to throw kunai at bats and rescue Gaara this spring. Confused about the numbers? We missed out on Naruto: Saikyou Ninja Daikesshuu 3. Europe, however, got a localized version of it.

A Double Dose Of DS Naruto Shippuden Games Japan gets a new Naruto Shippuden game from Tomy in the spring too. Naruto Shippuden: Shinobi Retsuden III, a sequel to the pseudo 3D fighter Naruto: Ninja Destiny, will arrive in stores on April 30. Highlights include Hidan’s appearance, Naruto’s wind element technique, and giant beast battles. Man vs. monster fights sound neat, but I wouldn’t expect them to deviate too much from what we’ve seen before.

Looks to be more of the usual garbage with their DS games

:( on the plus side since the license can be used internationally publishers could invest more in developing Shippuden titles now.

Hopefully they´ll consider making a Shippuden PSP game, now that US has the license…also,Hopefully Accel 2 will come out at the end of this year, but perhaps thats being too optimistic…
