I agree that it makes it more accessible, but often I find myself accidently pressing the wrong button (especially in 5B). Sometimes I'm glad because I get away with the error, yet at the same time I'm left feeling unsatisfied because I don't feel like I improved on my game.

It's like randomly pressing any key on a piano, and the notes would still come out right.

It's not going to stop me from playing it, but I feel Pentavision should have atleast given you the option to remove it.

I noticed this “feature” too. I like it because it makes the game more accessible to people not familiar with the series like me, but it also rewards seasoned players with a higher score.

The thing I don't like from the recent DJ Max games, is the fact you can press any button and it will register as a hit, as long as the timing is right.

This, uh, 'feature' was introduced in DJ Max Black Square. You get less points from doing so, but still a bizarre design choice if you ask me. You can't change it in the options either.

Good game though, the slick presentation is what got me interested in the series, with DJ Max 2 being my fave. I remember playing horribly when I first played 4B, but now I have gotten the hang of it upto 6B.
