Its been the trend for CAP and SNK to announce something awesome only to release a POS. This game looks great ( Terry + Power Charge = joy), I just hope its doesn't end up a turd like SF4 did.

From what I've been told, KoFXII actually uses 3D models as well; however, they've been painted over using a cel-shading technique that mimics the look of 2D sprites. It's easier to see this in video though.

Athena looks like she's 12.

Anyway, I certainly dig the new character sprites, but the small roster is rather disappointing. In all fairness though, I would typically only pick out a small handful of characters that I like to use and just ignore the rest.

I sure hope that they do a console port for the Wii and not make it the typical PS3/360-only affair, that way misers like me can still play it.

the game looks awesome but the only sprite i didnt like was athena. she looks a lilttle too cartoony compared to the other characters.

I'm glad Ignition Enterteinment has the rights for SNK's titles in Europe :3
