New Season Of Fullmetal Alchemist Gets Wii Game

By Spencer . March 4, 2009 . 10:50am

fmal A new season of Fullmetal Alchemist airs in Japan this April and a Wii game is already in the cards. A scan from this week’s issue of Famitsu reveals the game, but the teeny tiny text doesn’t offer much in details. Well, Edward is in the game, but I bet anyone could have guessed that!

I wonder who the developer is. Racjin developed most of the Fullmetal Alchemist games in the past and are a licensed Wii developer so they could be a candidate for a new Fullmetal Alchemist game. Also will this get picked up for North America? Square Enix published two of the three Fullmetal Alchemist games on the PlayStation 2 before giving up on the game that included co-op play.

I’m really looking forward to the new FMA anime! ^_^
I dunno if this will get picked up right away but if it does I’ll play it. I liked the PS2 games I just wished Al was playable…

Its not a new season in the sense its a continuation of the first one. This “new” season is based on the manga and will follow the manga very closely.

My guesses on the developer would be Racjin or h.a.n.d.

Did we ever find out who developed Soul Eater Wii?

Soul Eater Wii was developed by Square Enix.

I wonder if the new FMA game will be developed by Square Enix too, taking in account that Square currently seems to like developing games based on the manga that runs in their magazines…

    Awesome! Im getting that later

seeing as the 1st FMA series deviated from the anime from the 17th episode out of 52 (plus that ending movie)

I’m very curious how and where they’re going to catch up to the original story which is just so. much. better.

They’re not. They’re just gonna start over fresh with this new anime.
