Crystal Defenders Ready For PlayStation Network Too

By Spencer . March 11, 2009 . 1:40am

cdefps3 Any minute now Crystal Defenders is going to pop on Xbox Live. Surprisingly, Square Enix’s tower defense game got a simultaneous release on Japan’s PlayStation Store as well.

Overseas Crystal Defenders for PlayStation 3 costs 900 yen or about $9.15 in greenbacks. That’s a tiny bit cheaper than the Xbox 360 version which is on sale for 800 Microsoft Points, $10 American dollars or 1,100 yen. Ouch! Ah, that’s right Microsoft Points are more expensive overseas. I don’t foresee the same kind of price discrepancy domestically. Square Enix will probably charge $10 for Crystal Defenders on both consoles.

Technically, Crystal Defenders is Square Enix’s first PlayStation 3 game if you don’t count all the downloadable PsOne games sitting in the PlayStation Archives.

    Fuck you Square.

    A tower defense game?

    That’s it?

Continue sucking the good ol’ Microsoft cock why don’t you…

  • Rciwws

The 360 is an utter fail in Japan where Square-Enix products sell even more like hotcakes than they already do here. Why didnt they tell us back on launch date back in October 2006. “COMING IN MARCH 2009, THE FIRST SQUARE GAME FOR THE PS3”

I would have put off buying mine.
