Gallia’s Finest… In Bathing Suits, Sega’s New Valkyria Chronicles Figures

Valkyria Chronicles is getting a wave of attention in Japan. The PlayStation 3 game was just re-released with budget PlayStation 3 the Best packaging and the anime airs next month. In the middle of the blitz Sega is stocking capsule machines with another set of Valkyria Chronicles figures. The second collection has five characters on vacation and in casual swimwear. Quite different from the first set which had everyone in their battlefield uniforms. Each one costs 400 yen ($4) and are limited so get them while they’re hot.

I think import retailers will have them soon. Sega just announced them today so give it a little time.

Now I want both the uniform and swimsuit sets! But usually Gashapon don't look as good as in the photo right? (Actually some Saint Seiya ones look quite good). And I'm not nuts enough to plunge down the dough for the more expensive ones. Last time I spent $50 getting an anime heroine figure was for Tokiko from Busou Renkin.
