BlazBlue Comes Home In June

By Spencer . March 19, 2009 . 9:26am

Arc System Works updated BlazBlue’s release date from sometime this summer to June 25 in Japan. BlazBlue made its debut in arcades last November giving arcade owners a cushy eight months of exclusivity.

The console version has a single player story mode, more music, and online play via a lobby system. Aksys will release BlazBlue for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this summer too, but haven’t set a specific date. Since the game will be ready in June BlazBlue could have a sales battle with the King of Fighters XII. Ignition will publish SNK’s fighting game in July.

man, thank god fighting games have finally returned.

There won't be a sales battle. People who know their fighting games will buy both if they like both. People who don't know their fighting games already have Street Fighter IV
