What would a Nippon Ichi remake be without loads and loads of cameos? With only a week until Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days comes out in Japan they announced what fans suspected. Three characters from Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice will be unlockable super bosses in Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days. Level up your characters and get ready to fight Mao, Raspberyl, and Mr. Champloo to make them join your party.

Captain Gordon from Disgaea: Hour of Darkness is another playable character. He’s also affected by the magichange system, a move that turns monsters into weapons. When Captain Gordon transforms he becomes a powerful sword Adell or another character can use.

    Every game seems to be getting the same cameos. I wish they would make new sprites for their older characters like Ash or Eclair.

    As much as I absolutely love Nippon Ichi's games, Disgaea 2 I wasn't so hot on, I'm a little mixed on the fact that there packing this port so full of stuff, against the fact it's well Disgaea 2 x_x; I know this is gaining some systems from Disgaea 3, I kind of wish they'd just carry over more, if not all of the improvements from Disgaea 3 into it, like for example getting rid of Felonies again, Statistician are way better >w<! I get the fact that some people wouldn't want the game changed form Disgaea 2, but well they've already did it some, why not go all the way. Honestly I could say the same thing about the ports of Disgaea for the DS/PSP awhile back. I'd have been 200% sold if they had updated mechanics with the classic storyline. It'd be even better with Disgaea too, since if you want an untouched version of Disgaea, it's widely available for $20 on the PS2 any ways.
