Lux-Pain’s Strange Snack

By Spencer . April 5, 2009 . 6:56pm

luxpainSometimes press copies are bundled with swag. This isn’t anything new, but this is the first (and probably last) time I’ll get barbeque flavored worms with a game. Ignition’s copy of Lux-Pain came with Larvets: The Original Worm Snax, which are, no kidding, dried worms.

If you played Lux-Pain you probably get the reference. Silent is a “worm” that infects minds. Sending worms isn’t completely random, but seriously, Ignition why did you send worms?

So are those any good? I mean, sure, worms are gross, but if they taste alright and are safe for consumption, why would it matter?

You should give these away as a contest prize. I'd enter.
  • We *might* have some kind of spring swag cleaning contest...

Gross, like Fear factor or something... only worms entering my mouth is gummy worms.
  • I used to eat fried crickets when I stayed at my neighbor's house when I was a kid.
Worms... I wonder a live one would wiggle down your stomach?

what the hell is their problem?

The US is actually one of the only countries that doesn't appreciate the eating of insects.

They are usually quite high in protein.

    Ew.

Well its no other than eating all the other junk we eat, liver is all cool but not dried worms!
Otherwise a pretty odd promotion item...
