image Finally, a Final Fantasy launch event anyone with a computer can attend. Square Enix is ushering the release of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete with a virtual event on Japan’s Square Enix Members hub.

The event begins on April 15 at 6PM Japan time, of course. At 8PM the staff will show up for “photos” (screenshots?). Producer Shinji Hashimoto will login at 9PM and the staff will appear again at 10 PM. At midnight April 16 the event ends. Throughout the day the virtual world will be plastered with posters and users will have a chance to complete special quests.

Since the event is online international Advent Children might be able to sneak on the server. Use this guide if you need help installing the client.
