Nintendo’s Microgame Maker Is Also A Manga Maker

imageMade in Ore (Made in Me) is the next game in Nintendo’s WarioWare series and it comes out on April 29. Ninety microgames, including a Starfox one where you tap enemies to shoot them, are built on the cart. It’s up to you to make the next ninety by editing or designing them from scratch. If you ever wanted to create Wario Bowling where you fling Mario’s devilish doppelganger into a pile of Nintendo characters Made in Ore is the game for you.

imageIn addition to making zany flash-like games Made in Ore has a suite of simple creative tools. A manga maker lets users make four panel comics and a record function is for composing music. To get your creative juices flowing Made in Ore also has sample comics from Japanese cartoonists. Nintendo hasn’t confirmed Made in Ore for an overseas release, but this is probably getting localized. The question is will Nintendo keep the original comics or recruit local artists for new sample pieces.

  • :O
    I want this!

  • Can you really only store 90 of your own games, or did you just make that number up?

    • Not made up, it’s 90 games between ones you get from friends, downloads, and ones you make.

      • Thank you for clarifying that. But I’m curious about where you found that information. Is this all on the official website?
