The Mobile Pokemon X-Ray Machine

There are Pokemon trains, planes, and now anxiety relieving X-ray machines. Medical equipment manufacturer Shimadzu created a mobile X-ray machine and decorated it with Pokemon from the Nintendo DS game Diamond and Pearl.

Shimadzu believes having familiar characters like Pikachu and Piplup will comfort children and reduce fear. A number of studies claim diagnostics and all medical procedures go more smoothly when patients are relaxed. If Pokemon does the trick more power to the hospitals that use the machine, but Shimadzu should have picked a psychic Pokemon for the camera.
