It’s the end of the month and RPGs are shuttling into stores. Persona will get the most attention here, but don’t forget about the dungeon defending game Dam Dam. Made in Ore, a game where you make and share WarioWare mini-games also comes out on the DS.

On consoles X-Blades makes its debut in Japan and a MMO sails to the PlayStation 3. Anything catch your eye this week or is the domestic Wolverine console explosion good enough?

Dragon Ball Kai all the way, this might just be the best looking and most fun 2D RPG for DB in a long while. I'm watching the anime every Sunday, totally awesome! At this pace Vegeta would appear in no time. Kudos to the voice actors who are still so passionate and skillful even after a long lapse of 20 yrs. Roshi's replacement, a veteran, sounds good too. Brought Chow Yun-Fat to shame (saw the silly movie, Bulma's very hot)

Not a thing. Good thing too since I am still trying to finish off Excitebots.

Can't help but be excited about Hollywood blockbuster tie-ins. Those games are always great!
Games based on Final Approach and Da Capo both catch my eye... I am certain we will see both those titles on US shores promptly!

They are pricey -- but not that pricey compared to the original JP versions but an english translated version of the original D.C. is available for PC download through Mangagamer, and they just released Suika AS this week.
  • Tir-Na-Nog! For some reason I remember being interested in that... a year or two ago. Can't remember why, but the title reminded me.

Well, these imports are exciting, but I've got to admit my excitement is being reserved primarily for Cross Edge and Devil Summoner 2, among a few other portable titles. May is going to be GREAT!

Pfft, highschool nonsense. Dams are where it's at. :)

Has there been any word about UWOnline finally coming stateside? I know AGES ago it had even been reservable through Gamestop and Amazon and then any hint of localization just disappeared. Found it promising that New Horizons kind of snuck out for Wii within the past few weeks.

And...when might we be seeing your thoughts on the JP release of Persona?
  • Hmm... I'm not 100% sure that's coming in for us. I think this week we're getting the Wario Ware game maker and/or Dungeons & Dam. Since it's more of a port I thought it could wait until it comes out in the US.
