Square Enix Introduces Mystery Game With JFK Quote

By Spencer . April 30, 2009 . 9:14pm

A teaser site is up for a “NEW GAME” by Square Enix with few clues other than a futuristic city and a quote from John F. Kennedy’s inaugural speech. It reads, “The world is very different now. For a man holds in his mortal hands the power to abolish all forms of human poverty and all forms of human life.”

Other than the quote there aren’t any clues. Not even in the decompiled Flash file, we checked. Hmm… what Square Enix trademark correlates with a futuristic war? Front Mission Evolved? Vanguard Storm? Dragon Quest Wars? Nah, this can’t be Dragon Quest Wars.

Whatever game this is the setting and presentation are different from other Square Enix titles.

I think its Front Mission that game seems to be coming to the 360 and with JFK quote its already targeted more to the Americans now .

That’s the same image in the OXM article about the new Front Mission for XBox 360, so it has to be a teaser for that.

It’s totally a new art direction for the Dragon Quest series, what else could it be Spencer? I mean, come on seriously cant you tell? (if this WERE true I’d disown Square Enix but I know it’s not…)

  • 2dere

Was there an English release of Front Mission 2? I still have to find a copy of FM4 too. Only played first and third. :(

  • Karl

It’s Front Mission, because that’s what it says in the URL once you’re at the site.
