ffacIn just a few weeks Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete will arrive in North America for $38.99. A domestic release for the Blu-ray Final Fantasy film is scheduled on June 2nd.

Special features include an extra 26 minutes of Cloud and an animated short story with Denzel entitled On the Way to a Smile – Episode: Denzel. The disc includes English, Japanese and French language options and a slew of subtitles.

The North American release will not come with the Final Fantasy XIII trial disc. As a complementary prize we get a new Final Fantasy XIII trailer.

If you’re thinking about getting Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete, Amazon has it on sale for $22.99.

“The North American release will not come with the Final Fantasy XIII trial disc. As a complementary prize we get a new Final Fantasy XIII trailer.”

That sentence should read “In continuing with their new (paid for) business plan S-E will not be releasing the demo to PS3 fans as that would be unfair (a breach of contract) for 360 owners. However the Blu-ray will contain trailers for all of S-E PS3 titles.

    Lame……..

You should be all set then. This has Japanese voice acting and English subs.

Actually the Japanese version has Japanese dubs and English dubs but no subs. The English version will have it all with subs though. (Just wanted to make it clearer.)

I’m looking at the Amazon.ca counterpart, and while there is a discount, it’s not as big as the US discount. However, there’s two versions: regular and unrated, both nearly the same price. What would the difference be?

Can’t wait, pre-ordered mine from Amazon a couple months ago, heard nothing but good things about the extra footage and scene rearrangement, making it a much better movie than its original release.

That’s the reason I’ve been so patient and didn’t buy the Jpn ver. on impulse, $70 is a lot compared to $22.99, plus the Jpn version doesn’t have Eng. subtitles. Too bad US DVD/Blu-ray never feature Jpn subtitles.

I thought there is only one version too, is Canada having a censored and uncut version? Heard the new one has more blood, making it more believable and less like disney.
